Meet Aren. Animal Lover and Owner of Hey Buddy Shall We Walk.

My name is Aren Montgomery and I am the owner of Hey Buddy Shall We Walk.

I started my rescue of animals when I was just a child.  To me, this business is rescuing your dog or cat from long hours alone.  Dogs are social animals and form strong attachments to their humans. Most dog and cat owners feel badly when they have left their pet for extended periods of time due to work, vacations and their busy lifestyle.  You go to work or on vacation but your little buddy is waiting. Let me show him/her a good time while your away.

History & Experience

I have been walking dogs and been engaged in pet sitting for over 30 years.  My philosophy is simple. Look through the eyes of your pet. It’s a different view than you see initially.  Let me show you your pet’s view as I provide their care.

Caring for animals is my dream job.  Relationships are key in Hey Buddy Shall We Walk.  Your pet will become like family and will be treated with total respect and given lots of love and fun experiences.  You will benefit as well by having someone that you know take care of your babies and be your answer when something unexpected comes up.

What Makes Us Unique

Hey Buddy Shall We Walk is unique due to my philosophy about how animals think.  Dogs need to have time to sniff, dig and explore. Most dog walkers don’t stroll because they are working within the limits of a 30-45 minute appointment. Hey Buddy Shall We Walk believes that this is not an adequate time for your pet to really enjoy their walk.

It takes cats a little time to venture out and to relax enough to come over and get some love and attention.  We allow plenty of time by spending an hour at each appointment. My staff is small and so your pet welcomes the known visitor and accepts an extended family relationship.

We are unique because we are based on quality time spent with your pet doing things the way they naturally view a good experience.  We spend an hour per appointment for the same price as other companies' half-hour sessions.
